Ecologix of Cambridge, Ontario specializes in design, sales and service of specialty heating equipment. Products include air handlers, compact duct heating systems, continuous water heaters, and high efficiency water heaters. Services include system sizing and layout; product technical support; heat loss and heat gain calculations; in-floor heating design; field troubleshooting and project commissioning.

The Ecologix unit features ~70,000 Btu/h input sealed combustion non-condensing water heater module operating at ~83% efficiency. There is a hot water storage tank with ~25 gal (US) capacity.

The ventilation system air handler is derived from a specialized version of the Ecologix Smart Air Handler® and also includes an HRV module. The controls modulate air flow, and boost water heater performance by controlling the return water temperature.

The CMX display was an opportunity for Ecologix to create a "model system" using its modular approach. Pictured is a representation of the Silent duct™ system, showing how the 3" ducts connect to a large distribution duct from the plenum. The air handler is sitting on an empty grey box used only for the display.
